Universal Pictures UK has unveiled the trailer and full cast announcement for ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,’ the next chapter in Nintendo and Illumination’s blockbuster animated franchise.

Based on the world of ‘Super Mario Bros.,’ the new film follows the record-breaking success of 2023’s ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie,’ which powered up the global box office with over $1.3 billion in earnings.

Once again produced by Chris Meledandri of Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie promises to take fans beyond the Mushroom Kingdom and into the farthest reaches of space — bringing to life the vibrant and imaginative worlds first seen in the beloved Nintendo game series.

Returning voice stars Chris Pratt (Mario), Anya Taylor-Joy (Princess Peach), Charlie Day (Luigi), Jack Black (Bowser), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad), and Kevin Michael Richardson (Kamek) are all back for this new adventure. They’ll be joined by exciting new additions Benny Safdie and Brie Larson, whose roles remain under wraps for now.
