It’s not the biggest opening for Fincher (both Panic Room and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button made $30m and $26m, respectively) but it’s a decent figure for early October and due to strong reviews and a topical subject matter, it should find a decent-sized audience in the next coming weeks. The film opens over here on 15th October

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole made nearly $11m ($10,855,000) which brings its total box office revenue so far to just over $30m (although it still has a way to go until it gets anywhere close to it’s budget of $80m).

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps drops to third position, having made $35m so far, which is close to the original film’s final gross ($43.84m) but again, still far from its original budget of $70m.
