Marvel really are firing on all cylinders for Iron Man 3 today.
Within the past hour, we’ve seen the brilliant first teaser poster, followed by our first image of Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin – and this is all coming after a handful of new images earlier today, as well as the first sneak peek at the teaser trailer last night, which lands at 12:01 a.m. PT tomorrow.
And now, with the teaser trailer very much on the horizon, the second sneak peek has landed online.
“Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. Robert Downey, Jr. takes the lead once more as Tony Stark / Iron Man, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, and Kingsley, with Paul Bettany expected to reprise his role as the voice of JARVIS.
Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) has taken over the helm in Favreau’s place, for what promises to be another brilliant partnership with Downey, Jr., directing from a script he co-wrote with rising new talent, Drew Pearce.
Iron Man 3 will be kicking off Marvel’s Phase Two in the spring, heading into theatres in 3D on 26th April, 2013 here in the UK, followed by a 3rd May release over in the US. We cannot wait. This is going to be simply epic. Enjoy.
