The Nice Guys rolled into London town this week ahead of the debut of Shane Black’s new film at Cannes.
When Shane Black has a new film coming out, and that film is a 70s set neon-noir starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, you have to take notice. Black’s humour always lives up to its name and his recent directorial embrace of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Iron Man 3 shows he has a grand command over the over the top action we’ve seen from the film so far.
Black, Crowe, Matt Bomer and the legendary Joel Silver fielded Qs from the assembled press recently and you can see the whole shebang below.
The Nice Guys is out in the States on the 20th of May, here in the UK on the 3rd of June.
“The Nice Guys” takes place in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.
