Oscar nominee Nancy Meyers (Private Benjamin) is back this year with The Intern, her first film since 2009’s It’s Complicated.
Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway lead the workplace comedy, which heads into UK cinemas in just under two months’ time. And now Warner Bros. has released a new trailer, giving us a second glimpse at what’s to come.
Rene Russo, Anders Holm, Adam DeVine, and Nat Wolff round out the cast, with Meyers directing from her own script.
The Intern will be released in the US on 25th September and in the UK on 2nd October.
In “The Intern,” De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).
