Yesterday we got to hear from Miranda Cosgrove for her role as Margo in Universal Pictures’ latest animated adventure, Despicable Me 2 and today we get to hear from Steve Carell who plays Gru. Interviewing Steve was such a pleasure and he completely lived up to every expecation we had and was just as funny in person as he is when we see him on screen.
In the interview, we chat about how his character has changed over the course of the original film to this, how he picks the roles that he does and whether his kids influence the roles that he takes. We also get to hear about how the voice he created for his character was devised and finally we ask about his work on Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues for his character of Brick. He talks about getting the gang back together and how fun the table-read was.
