The movie comes from the same man behind Bridesmaids (Paul Feig) who brings back Melissa McCarthy in a starring role opposite Sandra Bullock. We got to chat with the director and with Bullock this evening about the film, what we can expect and what it was that drew Sandra back into acting after having her child. We also get to find out how she got involved in the movie Gravity starring opposite George Clooney.
As well as Paul and Sandra, we also get to hear from Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer who was in attendance at the premiere about her role as Margaery Tyrell in Game of Thrones, the reaction to episode 9 from Season 3 (The Red Wedding reaction), what we can look forward to in Season 4, working with Lena Headey and then her other working including Sherlock Holmes series Elementary and working with Ridley Scott and Ron Howard in Rush and The Counselor.
Finally we get to hear from the Writer of The Heat, Katie Dippold who tells us about her nerves since this is her first feature film and what it was like acting in front of the camera in a cameo role and Jamie Denbo and Jessica Chaffin who are completely nuts and we love them! They talk about their role in the movie, how they’re usually the source of much of the trouble and from this interview you can see why they were cast in the roles as Beth and Gina.
The Heat hits UK cinemas July 31st so a little while to wait im afraid.
