We’ve been running for around 18 months now and during that time we’ve become an award winning website, made loads of new friends, had thousands of new readers but there was one thing missing… you guessed it! Over very own game! Our good and legendary friend, James has created this wonderful game for us and going forward, we hope to be giving you new ones all the time with any category you can think of. This is the prototype and we thought that we’d unleash it on the world and allow you to test it for us (if you don’t mind that is!). We’ll be doing games of all sorts of genres – the list is literally endless and to start off, we thought there would be no better way to start than to do a game which comprises of the ten best films ever made according to votes from IMDb. In the first instance, this is just for fun however going forward, we may create some sort of leader board system but that’s probably a few phases away! So have a go at our first ever game and let us know what you think of it in the comments below.
Too easy. Nice idea though, how about from the Top 250 instead of the Top 10?

This one is indeed very easy, especially with the clues. This is the first one and is only an example. We can make them a lot harder but we wanted to start off with a simple one so that people could get a feel for it.
At the mo, we need feedback more on functionality rather than content.

“The Godfather part II” or “The Godfather 2” or “The Godfather part 2” are exactly the same thing!

Hi there. Enjoyed it a lot but it took me about 8 goes to name Godfather II correctly. Fortunately realised I should check when it came to Star Wars! Maybe it needs a warning at the top about checking punctuation, exact title etc…?
I like the idea of having clues so it can be easier if you want.
I'd love to have another go so I hope you keep these coming!

I think the game should be hard, but if people know the answer we shouldn't make it the spelling or wording that stops the from getting the right answer. That would just be annoying!
I really like the idea of having a leader board that links this and any other quiz together…
A random 10 from a selection would give the game more replay value. Good idea. Just the extra time it would make is a factor.
Ok would be better if i either learned to spell or if it recognised better. I did like but a bit easy, good though cos you either know it or you dont,
Fun little game, but getting the star wars one right was a pain. I knew it was empire but it took me about a dozen attempts at typing it in different ways before it was accepted

Good stuff but think it should finish with a rating system comment, like “Movie Legend” for top marks and “need to watch more films” for duds (but more fun comments though)
Seconded. Also, less famous posters and more obscure parts of them. I actually typed 'Star Wars' instead of 'The Empire Strikes Back' because it's not one of the most frequently seen posters and I didn't spot the tauntaun.
Good stuff. I can only agree with what's been said about getting the exact title but other than that it's a well executed quiz. I don't know how long it would take to do the whole IMDB top 250 but that would be pretty darn cool.
