Warner Bros. Pictures has released the official teaser trailer for ‘The Bride,’ the bold and electrifying new feature from Academy Award-nominated writer and director Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Lost Daughter). The film is set to hit UK cinemas on 6th March 2026.

Led by Academy Award nominee Jessie Buckley and Academy Award winner Christian Bale, ‘The Bride’ reimagines one of the world’s most enduring and provocative tales in dazzling, radical fashion.

The trailer introduces audiences to a lonely Frankenstein (Bale), who journeys to 1930s Chicago in search of groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (five-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening). His plea: to create him a companion. Together, they revive a murdered young woman—and thus, The Bride (Buckley) is born.

But what begins as an experiment quickly spirals into chaos. The Bride’s awakening sparks a story filled with murder, possession, outlaw love, and the rise of a cultural movement that challenges everything society believes it knows.

The star-studded ensemble also includes Peter Sarsgaard, Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, and Academy Award winner Penélope Cruz, further heightening the prestige behind this daring cinematic reinvention.
