Prime Video has unleashed the trailer for ‘The Bluff,’ a thunderous action-adventure that collides swashbuckling fury with raw emotional stakes, led by a ferocious turn from Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Set against the sunlit serenity of the Cayman Islands, the trailer introduces Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a woman who believes she has finally outrun her violent past. Once a feared pirate, Ercell has carved out a fragile peace with her husband T.H. (Ismael Cruz Cordova), their son Isaac (Vedanten Naidoo), and her sister-in-law Elizabeth (Safia Oakley-Green). Palm trees sway, the sea glistens, and for a moment, it looks like the war is over.
Then Connor arrives.
Played with ruthless menace by Karl Urban, Ercell’s former captain resurfaces with vengeance on his mind, tearing open old wounds and dragging her back into a world of blood, secrets, and survival. What follows is a relentless escalation as Ercell is forced to confront the demons she tried to bury, transforming once more into the warrior she swore she’d leave behind.
Directed by Frank E. Flowers, Chopra Jonas grounds Ercell as a complex, battle-scarred heroine caught between who she was and who she needs to be. The cast also includes Safia Oakley-Green, Vedanten Naidoo, Temuera Morrison, alongside Ismael Cruz Cordova and Karl Urban.
