4. Norman Osborn
“Not everyone has a happy ending,” Norman Osborn cryptically tells his son Harry in the trailer when asked about Peter Parker. Curt Connors was transformed into The Lizard during The Amazing Spider-Man while seeking a cure for the dying Oscorp boss, and it appears as if this is all building towards Norman taking a serum which will transform him into the Green Goblin in either this or a later installment of the franchise.
It doesn’t sound as if Chris Cooper will have a huge role in the sequel, although we should probably expect to see him pulling the string at Oscorp. How his relationship with Peter and Harry will differ to that of the previous trilogy and comic books is arguably one of the most intriguing aspects of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 so far!.
