It’s not every day you’re granted access to one of your heroes for a lengthy period of time, but we had the pleasure of sitting down with the Hollywood superstar Patricia Arquette to have an extended interview about her forthcoming true crime series The Act.

Arquette plays Dee Dee Blanchard in this remarkable tale, inspired by real events, and she discusses with us her research, this fascinating tale, and exactly what it was like playing such a complex character on screen. We also dip into the contemporary landscape in cinema, looking at the impact post-Weinstein, in a MeToo world, and whether she’s noticed any changes within the industry. She also talks about True Romance, and whether she could tell at the time of shooting that it would be a film to garner such a huge cult following.
