Like Transformers, 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was very much one of those movies people either seemed to love or hate. Say what you will about that first instalment though because the sequel looks set to make fans happy with the addition of some big names.
This new Super Bowl TV spot features not only a scantily clad Megan Fox, but also a first look at Krang, a fan-favourite villain from the comics and cartoons who looks set to make his presence felt here in a big way. The squid-like alien from Dimension X is also bringing the Technodome with him, so Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows clearly won’t be holding anything back. Even Rocksteady and Bepop rear their ugly heads in this preview!
Far more handsome than both of them is Arrow star Stephen Amell, and this new look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel gives us some very cool shots of him in action as Casey Jones. Basically, there’s something for everyone here and it looks like a lot of fun.
Dave Green (Earth to Echo) is directing the sequel, taking over from Jonathan Liebesman, while Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Johnny Knoxville, and Jeremy Howard are set to reprise the roles of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As we mention above, Megan Fox is also back.
