The 2nd of this week’s awesome Bollywood trailers is Reema Kagti’s Talaash starring performing heavyweights Amir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee.
Starting off with a sniper taking aim with an amusement park on the background, the credits start rolling with the collaboration of Excel Entertainment and Amir Khan Productions, two names that pretty much guarantee quality cinema that never fails to entertain.
We have Amir Khan donning a police uniform after quite a while and some very impressive facial hair (something he has wanted to do since Lagaan), Rani Mukherjee looking quite sober in a saree and Kareena Kapoor who’s glamorous as always.
Excel loves making these slick thrillers and not all of them work but the names attached to Talaash in front of behind the camera pretty much assure that this will be amazing.
Amir still only does a handful a movies every 1-2 years and hasn’t had a misfire in close to a decade now.
Reema Kagti whose only directed HoneyMoon Travels Pvt Ltd. before which was a small gem of a movie but maybe was the huge hit, they were hoping for. She has been honing her craft since on movies like Zindagi Na Milege Dobara or Vanity Fair as writer or assistant director.
The release is quite a bit away and this is just the first teaser, but Talaash looks amazing!
