Oscilloscope Laboratories has sent over the trailer for their new movie which made both the Sundance and SXSW Official selections this year named The Bellflower. It’s written and directed by Evan Glodell and stars Evan Glodell, Jessie Wiseman, Tyler Dawson, Rebekah Brandes and Vincent Grashaw.
Synopsis: Best friends Woodrow and Aiden spend all of their free time building Mad Max-inspired flamethrowers and muscle cars in preparation for a global apocalypse. But when Woodrow meets a charismatic young woman and falls hard in love, he and Aiden quickly integrate into a new group of friends, setting off on a journey of love and hate, betrayal, infidelity and extreme violence more devastating and fiery than any of their apocalyptic fantasies.
It’s set for release in the US on August 5th in in NY at the Angelika Theatre and in LA at the Nuart Theatre with a national rollout following. No news as yet when it’ll apper in the UK but we’ll try and find out and keep you posted.
