Apple TV+ has revealed a first look at the highly anticipated second season of ‘Sugar,’ the acclaimed neo-noir detective drama starring and executive produced by Emmy nominee Colin Farrell. The eight-episode new season will make its global debut on Friday, June 19, premiering with one episode, followed by weekly releases every Friday through August 7.

Season two of ‘Sugar’ ushers in the return of Los Angeles’s most stylish private investigator and unapologetic film obsessive, John Sugar. Farrell reprises the role for a gripping new case that pulls Sugar deep into the city’s underbelly. This time, he is tasked with tracking down the troubled older brother of a rising local boxer, a search that quickly entangles itself with Sugar’s ongoing quest to find his beloved missing sister.

As the investigation widens, it begins to expose a sprawling, city-wide conspiracy with dark and dangerous intentions. With the stakes rising and the moral lines blurring, Sugar is forced to confront himself, asking a question that cuts to the core of the series’ noir soul: just how far is he willing to go to do what he believes is right?
