Much to the surprise of Star Wars fans, the first teaser trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens featured all-new characters, and while there were a few familiar sights, the likes of Luke, Han, and Leia were nowhere to be found. Now, we can at least put names to faces thanks to the trading cards you see below!

Paying homage to the Topps trading cards which were released alongside A New Hope in 1977, J.J. Abrams, the film’s co-writer and director, and Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy have chosen to reveal the identities of the new characters in a very unique and interesting fashion. BB-8? Poe Dameron? Rey? Finn? All here!

These are names we’ll be getting very familiar with over the next few years of course, and based on the fact that each of the cards is numbered, don’t be surprised if more of these are released sooner rather than later.

Perhaps the most interest reveal here is that the villain with the fancy new lightsaber is called Kylo Ren!

Don’t bother heading to Wikipedia in the hope of finding out more about any of these guys as the Expanded Universe no longer exists and these are all characters who will debut in Star Wars: The Force Awakens…
