In it Christina Aguilera sings loudly on the set of a Diet Coke ad circa 1989 and, while we know she can sing, it’ll be her acting ability which will decide this film’s fate.
She’s got a decent supporting cast though, with Stanley Tucci, Alan Cumming and Cher all pitching in to drag this rags to riches musical out of the quagmire of cliche and into the spotlight. If you fancy a closer, more bombastic look you can see the trailer here.
