If you’ve read the Civil War comic, you’ll know that Captain America and Iron Man’s teams were pretty huge. Unfortunately, that was never going to be the case in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because there a) aren’t enough characters, and b) that would likely┬ámake for a very messy and unsatisfactory two hour movie, especially in terms of character development.

The teams which are shaping up still look pretty damn great though! As you can see, on Captain America’s side are The Falcon, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and surprise additions The Winter Soldier and Agent 13. Teaming up with Iron Man meanwhile are Black Panther, Black Widow, War Machine, The Vision, and War Machine. Where’s Spider-Man? Nowhere to be found!

It could be that he doesn’t choose a side or more likely that Marvel are keeping his role in this movie a secret for the time being. Look closely at this new artwork, and you’ll spot not only Redwing (The Falcon’s drone), but also the fact that each of the heroes have upgraded costumes which should look great on screen. Hawkeye in particular looks amazing.

This is just promo art of course, and Marvel has yet to release an official image from the movie. With production recently wrapping and that D23 trailer shown off to a select handful of fans, you have to believe that we’re going to get something sooner rather than later!
