Previously, Sega released NiGHTS Into Dreams for the Sega Saturn and exclusively for PS2 in Japan.
Now this classic is in preparation for its release to X-Box Live, Playstation Network, and PC Digital Download. The new HD version is going to hold all original levels in greater graphics. Not a fan of remakes? NiGHTS Into Dreams HD also has a feature from which the original Saturn graphics can be played through instead.
The idea for bringing NiGHTS back to present for more enhanced playing console was thanks to Chris Olson, Sega’s vice president for digital buisness. This is what he had to say:
“The Sega Saturn offered many unique gaming experiences, and Nights Into Dreams… stands out as one of the most recognizable titles that found a home on the system. We’ve gotten a lot of requests about this game over the years, and are very happy to be able to give both former Saturn owners and new players a chance to play it in its most beautiful form to date this fall.”
