Not sure this is as big news as some people are making it out to be. Surely if a movie has a great story, does it need to be in 3d just for the sake of it? I say no! This could of course just be a joke and a sarcastic tweet to get sites like us to waste their time writing about it! What do you guys think?

im glad its not in 3D I think that 3D is a lame attempt to get people to see movie that are not any good. like avatar that movie sucked , not to say it didnt look great(which it did) but its plot was lacking too much to make it a good movie.so anyway scott pilgrim rules so does edgar wright match made in heaven.
Obviously, it was sarcastic but his next tweet was even better:
“For those willing to pay extra for the 3D experience, selected theatres will feature martial artists who punch people in the first row.”
