Scarlett Johansson is in negotiations to step into Gotham City, with sources confirming the star is circling a major role in ‘The Batman’ Part II. The DC Studios sequel, once again directed by Matt Reeves, will see Johansson potentially starring opposite Robert Pattinson’s brooding Caped Crusader.
Production on the film is expected to kick off next spring, ahead of its scheduled October 2027 theatrical release from Warner Bros.
