For the first time ever, Sandra Bullock is set to work alongside Brad Pitt in David Leitch’s ‘Bullet Train’ at Sony Pictures.

Bullock will join the already announced cast of Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Masi Oka and Andrew Koji.

Based on the Japanese novel ‘Maria Beetle’ by bestselling author Kotaro Isaka, the contained story follows a group of assassins with conflicting motives aboard a fast-moving train in Tokyo.

‘Deadpool 2’ and ‘Hobbs and Shaw’ helmer, David Leitch is set to direct he will also supervise the script, which will be written by Zak Olkewicz.

Leitch and Kelly McCormick will produce through their company 87North, along with Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick. Kat Samick is exec producing and Brittany Morrissey is the executive overseeing the project for Sony Pictures.

Bullock was last seen in Netflix feature ‘Bird Box’ and can be next see in the streamers upcoming untitled dram from Nora Fingscheidt.
