Rockwell will star alongside an already stellar cast, which includes Jonah Hill, Ari Graynor, Landry Bender, Max Records, J. B. Smoove and Kevin Hernandez.
David Gordon Green will direct from a screenplay by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.
The Sitter centers on a college student (Hill) on suspension who is coaxed into babysitting the kids (Records, Hernandez and Bender) next door, though he is fully unprepared for the wild night ahead of him.
The Sitter is currently filming in New York and will be released on July 15, 2011.
