There have been rumblings for a while now that Sam Neill might make an appearance in Thor: Ragnarok, but it has now been confirmed that the Hunt for the Wilderpeople star will reteam with director Taika Waititi for an mystery role in the highly anticipated Marvel movie.
“I’m not really allowed to say this and I can’t tell you what it is…I did a couple of days on Thor just before I came over here,” Neill revealed. “If I say anything else, Marvel’s secret agents – and they are lethal – will come and get me and probably my children, as well.”

What’s particularly interesting about this is the fact that the actor is also going to be reunited with his Jurassic Park co-star Jeff Goldblum (he plays The Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok). Whether or not they’ll actually share any scenes together obviously remains to be seen.
Starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, and Karl Urban, Thor: Ragnarok is set to be released on November 3rd, 2017. Expect more to be revealed about this one very soon.
