‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘End Game’ directors, Joe and Anthony Russo have entered into early talks to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to close the Multiverse saga.

The filmmaking bros. could be set to take the helm on 2026’s Avengers movie, formerly titled ‘The Kang Dynasty’ and 2027’s ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’

‘Loki’ creator Michael Waldron was recently hired to pen the screenplay for ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ while ‘Secret Wars’ is still looking for its scribe.

A couple of names have already been linked to the project with ‘Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ helmer Destin Daniel Cretton departing ‘The Kang Dynasty’ in 2023. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ director Shawn Levy was offered the position to take the helm but passed on the projects.

The Russo Brothers have directed four Marvel films, including 2014’s ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ and 2016’s ‘Captain America: Civil War.’
