With Tom Rothman now in charge of Sony Pictures, the studio is looking to make up for some recent misfires (The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Pixels for example) by unveiling a very impressive slate of movies for the next two years. The full list can be found below.

Among the highlights release dates for the long delayed big screen adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, not to mention the surprise confirmation of two new Bad Boys movies. Ghostbusters meanwhile has been moved up, while the Uncharted movie –  which has been trapped in development hell for years now – has been pushed back to 2017.

Edgar Wright’s next movie Baby Driver also has a release date, while sci-fi movie Passengers starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence looks set to be a big Christmas movie next year.

Overall, this is an impressive slate of movies. Not listed is Spider-Man, but that’s more than likely because Marvel Studios are handling that release on behalf of Sony Pictures.
