Red Character Poster – Helen Mirren

Yesterday I put up a brand new character poster for Red which showed Bruce Willis in all his, well, red glory and today, Latino Review have given us the second poster whch shows Hellen Mirren looking like she’s going to kick some serious butt!

Red is directed by Robert Schwentke (Flight Plan) and also stars Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Mary-Louise Parker.

Red is based on the Warren Ellis’ comic book and looks like it could be some what different  to the usual ‘action’ movie that we’ve become very much used to. The supporting cast includes Karl Urban, Richard Dreyfuss and Brian Cox.

Synopsis: Frank, Joe, Marvin, and Victoria used to be the CIA’s top agents — but the secrets they know just made them the Agency’s top targets. Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive. To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history.

Still no UK release date that I can find but it’s out in the US 15th October.
