The movie is directed by Ivan Reitman and also stars Cary Elwes, Kevin Kline, Olivia Thirlby, Lake Bell and Ophelia Lovibond. This is one of two movies coming out this year in which two friends decide to get together with quite probably the same outcome. The other movie stars Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis and is called Friends with Benefits. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if both are as predicable as they look. Then again, this one is directed by Reitman so I’m holding out hope!
No Strings Attached is released in the US 21st January and in the UK 25th February.
This looks like the world’s cleanest dirty movie. There is nobody involved in this film who I would trust to tell me anything interesting or insightful about relationships, and since there appears to be a cycle emerging of films about casual sexual couples who can’t help falling in love, I wonder which of them will be the first to stray from script and end differently.
Best friends as sex friends? Friends (with benefits) is the flick to see. Talented NYC based cast and a cameo by “Social Network”‘s Rooney Mara.
