This new Japanese trailer for Real Steel unleashes a load of plot along with the obligatory CG robot fighting. What this trailer does better than the previous theatrical trailer is lay out the emotional centre of the film, something which is essential if the film is to be seen as anything more than Rocky VII: Heavy Metal.
Shawn Levy is directing this one with Evangeline Lilly, Dakota Goyo, Anthony Mackie and Kevin Durand standing up alongside Mr Jackman and while it seems like a difficult film to sell this trailer is a good way to start.
