Directed by Gus Van Sant from a script by Jason Lew, Restless stars Mia Wasikowska, Ryo Kase, Jane Adams, Henry Hopper, Chin Han and Schuyler Fisk.
Restless will be released on January 28, 2011.
Synopsis: The story of a terminally ill teenage girl who falls for a boy who likes to attend funerals and their encounters with the ghost of a Japanese kamikaze pilot from WWII.

Aww, it’s about cute, quirky, hip people in love. Does this count as one of Van Sant’s death films? I was loving his run of great films with Elephant, Last Days, Gerry, Paranoid Park, and now he seems to have gotten all the experiment out of his system and his films look a bit too ordinary. Could still be interesting, though.
