For the uninitiated (and if you haven’t seen Zoolander you ought to immediately), Zoolander told the tale of a brainless male model, Derek Zoolander (played by Ben Stiller) who is brainwashed into assassinating the Prime Minister of Malaysia to prevent a change to child labour laws that would be catastrophic for the fashion industry. It is a genuinely funny film, with Owen Wilson playing Hansel, a fellow male model and Will Ferrell shrieking hysterically as a fashion designer and erstwhile inventor of the piano necktie.
Wilson said that he had seen Stiller and they had been talking about another film, adding that he thinks there is a really good script and he thinks they are going to do it. Wilson wouldn’t allow himself to be drawn on plot specifics but said that he thought everyone would be pleased with the stuff they have for the new film. He also hinted that the rest of the stars of the first film would be likely to return.

Well I gotta say Zoolander is one of my favorite silly movies, it’s meant for you to cheer up immediately when you’re down without having to think at all. Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller are just hillarious, and I find myself quoting A LOT of the lines with my sister xD. A sequel should be just as brainless and filled with cameos like Billy Zane (“listen to your friend Billy Zaaanneee…”) lol…
