Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman has joined the cast of ‘The Young People,’ the latest feature from acclaimed horror filmmaker Osgood Perkins, whose recent hits ‘Longlegs’ and ‘The Monkey’ have cemented him as one of the genre’s most exciting voices.
Kidman joins an impressive ensemble led by rising stars Lola Tung (The Summer I Turned Pretty) and Nico Parker (How to Train Your Dragon), alongside Brendan Hines (The Tick), Cush Jumbo (The Good Wife), Heather Graham (Drugstore Cowboy), Johnny Knoxville (Jackass), Lexi Minetree (Elle), Lily Collias (Good One), and Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black).

While plot details remain tightly under wraps, ‘The Young People’ is already generating strong anticipation thanks to Perkins’ reputation.
The film is produced by Perkins and his longtime collaborator Chris Ferguson under their Phobos banner, alongside Brian Kavanaugh-Jones for Range.
Kidman, who has the Prime Video thriller ‘Scarpetta’ and Apple TV+ series ‘Margo’s Got Money Trouble’ on the horizon, makes a welcome return to horror. She is perhaps best remembered by genre fans for her acclaimed performance in Alejandro Amenábar’s 2001 gothic hit ‘The Others,’ a film that has become a modern horror classic.
