He also confirmed that the directors of Crank, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, would take the helm, ending months of speculation which began at the start of the year when news of the sequel broke.
The original Ghost Rider, which was directed by Mark Steven Johnson, focused on Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage), a stunt motorcyclist, who gives up his soul to become a vigilante and fight against power hungry Blackheart (Wes Bentley).
While the first had potential, it failed to garner much excitement, but with new directors and a revitalised Cage, Ghost Rider 2 will hopefully prove those doubters wrong.
Some enterprising soul has uploaded the video of Cage talking flaming skulled vengeance filled bikers.
Collider deserve our thanks, so let this be it.
