This week Nicholas Hoult will be seen taking on the role of J.R.R Tolkien in the biopic on his early life but Hoult has just lined up his next project, Starring alongside Angelina Jolie in the thriller ‘Those Who Wish Me Dead’.

Tyler Perry has also joined the project in a currently undisclosed role. Hoult’s role is also currently been kept under wraps. Taylor Sheridan will be taking the helm.

Based on Michael Koryta’s novel, the film will tell the story of a 14-year-old boy who witnesses a brutal murder. He is issued a false identity and hidden in a wilderness skills program for troubled teens while the killers are slaughtering anyone who gets in their way in a methodical quest to reach him.

Bron Studios and Film Rites are producing and Creative Wealth Media will finance the film. Garrett Basch and Steve Zaillian of Film Rites and Bron Studios’ Aaron L. Gilbert are also producing, and Creative Wealth Media’s Jason Cloth is executive producing.

Hoult was last seen prancing about in a rather fetching 18th-century wig in Yorgos Lanthimos’ award-winning film ‘The Favourite’ alongside Olivia Coleman, Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone. After Tolkien, Hoult will next be seen reprising his role of Beast in X-Men: Dark Phoenix this coming summer. Other upcoming projects include ‘The Banker’ with Samuel L. Jackson and Justin Kurzel’s ‘The True History of the Kelly Gang’ alongside Charlie Hunnam and Russell Crowe. He will also be starring in the TV series ‘The Great’ based on Catherine The Great alongside Ella Fanning.
