With a few hours to go until we descend into the annual hilarity of April Fool’s Day Warner Bros have unleashed the full theatrical trailer for Todd Phillips’ follow-up to his phenomenly successful comedy hit The Hangover.
The gang are back together for the Bangkok set sequel with Todd Phillips returns to direct Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha and Zach Galifianakis. Scot Armstrong wrote the script which, when synopsised, looks a little like this:
In “The Hangover Part II,” Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.
This trailer gives far more away than the first teaser did and there’s tattoos, gunfire and monkeys galore for our merry band. It looks like more of the same but hey – that’s people will be expecting right?
The Hangover Part II hits UK cinemas 26th May.
