Debuting at Sundance this year to strong reviews, The Words has an enviable cast headed up by the great rising talent Bradley Cooper, Zoë Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Dennis Quaid, and Jeremy Irons.

We caught the very strong first trailer back in May, and now EW have given us this new interactive motion poster with leading man Bradley Cooper front and centre.

“Rory Jansen, a struggling writer, aspires to be the next great literary voice. When he discovers a lost manuscript in a weathered attaché case, he realizes he possesses something extraordinary that he desperately wishes he had created. Rory decides to pass the work off as his own and finally receives the recognition he desperately craves. However, he soon learns that living with his choice will not be as easy as he thought as he faces a moral dilemma that will make him take a hard look at the man he has become.

In their directorial debut, Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal have crafted a subtle tale that examines how overwhelming desire can lead to unforeseen and unwanted consequences. Bolstered by a strong cast, led by Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Irons, The Words adeptly assembles multiple narratives that reveal how one man’s lost legacy holds the life of another man captive.”

Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, co-writers for the TRON: Legacy story, make their directorial debuts here from their own script.

The Words will be released on 7th September in the US, and though we’re still without a date here in the UK, I remain optimistic. The leading cast is very strong, with Cooper in particular becoming an increasingly sought-after star in recent years, proving with Limitless last year that he could lead his own film, and I’m hoping a UK distributor will be setting a release on our shores soon, too. For now, enjoy this new interactive poster, followed by an image of the poster itself.

“In the End…”
