It’s been a fine beginning for this latest version of a classic screen monster. The early buzz for Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla movie has done much to assuage fears of another Roland Emmerich destructothon and with Edwards’ trusted hands seemingly given enough freedom we should be seeing something special when the beast is unleashed later this year.
