Netflix has revealed the first look images from Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole, inviting audiences into the frostbitten shadows of Oslo, a city where secrets rot beneath the snow and justice rarely comes clean.
Based on Jo Nesbø’s globally bestselling novels, the nine-episode series brings to life the author’s most infamous creation, Harry Hole, a brilliant but deeply damaged detective whose methods are as dangerous as the criminals he hunts. The series will premiere globally on Netflix on 26th March 2026.
Tobias Santelmann (Exit, The Arctic Convoy) takes on the iconic role of Harry Hole, capturing the character’s sharp instincts, self-destructive tendencies, and relentless pursuit of truth. He is joined by Joel Kinnaman (Altered Carbon, The Suicide Squad) as the enigmatic and corrupt Tom Waaler, Harry’s most formidable adversary, and Pia Tjelta (Made in Oslo, State of Happiness) as Rakel Fauke, whose connection to Harry complicates both his personal and professional life.
