Sony Pictures UK has released a new gripping trailer for ‘Mercy,’ the high-stakes sci-fi thriller set to hit cinemas on January 23.
Set in the near future, the film follows a detective, played by Chris Pratt, who finds himself on trial for the murder of his own wife. With only 90 minutes to prove his innocence, he must convince an advanced A.I. Judge, portrayed by Rebecca Ferguson, who he once championed, that he is not guilty—before the system determines his fate.
Directed by action and visual effects maestro Timur Bekmambetov, the ensemble cast also features Kali Reis, Annabelle Wallis, Chris Sullivan, and Kylie Rogers in pivotal roles.
