We’ve already seen a teaser trailer for Disney’s Oscar-hopeful Saving Mr. Banks and now we have a teaser poster for the film.
The film has Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson leading the story of Walt Disney’s wooing of Mary Poppins creator P.L. Travers over the rights to throw her greatest creation onto the big screen.
Aside from the Oscar-heavy casting and nostalgic whimsy which is certain to feature heavily it will be very interesting to see how Disney will allow their beloved leader to be portrayed. Looking at the trailer the combination of Hanks and Thompson looks to be a winning one, and the cinema industry’s ongoing fictionalisation of its own legends looks to continue apace.
