Sony Pictures Classics has released a trailer for the newly renamed Mark Felt: The Man Who Took Down the White House with Liam Neeson hell bent on blowing the whistle Watergate scandal.

Based on the true events about an FBI agent, Mark Felt, who became an anonymous source (“Deep Throat”) for reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, and helped them in the investigation which led them to the Watergate scandal.

Directed by Concussion’s Peter Landesman and produced by Ridley Scott, the film stars Liam Neeson as the FBI agent who would become ‘Deep Throat’, the anonymous whistleblower who exposed the Watergate scandal, Diane Lane as Audrey Felt, the brilliant and troubled wife who shares the burden of Felt’s dangerous struggle against the White House’s Watergate scandal, Maika Monroe as Joan Felt, Mark’s daughter, Eddie Marsan as a CIA agent, Michael C. Hall as John Dean, architect of the Watergate cover-up who was desperate to plug the Washington Post leaks and Bruce Greenwood as Sandy Smith, A Tim magazine reporter.
