Malice is a thrilling new noir set across Greece & London, which features British comedian Jack Whitehall in a role unlike anything we’ve seen him do before. To mark the launch of this hugely entertaining new show, we had the pleasure in speaking to Whitehall, alongside creator James Wood. We also spoke to TV titans David Duchovny & Carice van Houten, as well as stars Christine Adams & Raza Jaffrey.
The cast unpack Jack’s big dramatic turn, the tonal balancing act of the series, and why setting the story between London and Greece gives the thriller its mythic, sun-soaked bite. Whitehall explains how Adam must “charm everyone” while hiding an inner darkness, and Wood reveals how music, strange instruments and even written-in songs (Mick Jagger, Leonard Cohen) helped shape the show’s distinctive voice. Together they tease the pilot’s foreboding, the deliberate tonal shifts and why paradise is the perfect place for things to go very wrong.
Meanwhile, Duchovny & van Houten discuss the changing face of television, and how contemporary shows compare to the likes of The X Files & Game of Thrones (which leads into a rather funny discussion about the two), while don’t miss us paying back a long-standing debt to Whitehall… in the form of 80p. Watch all three interviews in their entirety below.

Plot
Adam (Jack Whitehall) is a charismatic tutor who charms his way into the life of the wealthy Tanner family while they’re on holiday in Greece. When the family’s nanny falls dangerously ill, Adam manipulates his way into their London home — and his true vengeful nature begins to surface. As Adam starts turning Jamie Tanner (David Duchovny) and Nat (Carice van Houten) against each other, he secretly plots to destroy the entire family. But when questions about his past arise, those who dig too deep find themselves caught in a dangerous web. With his world collapsing, Jamie must face a terrifying truth: is it already too late to save his family?
