Yesterday the Oscar nominations were announced with a nod going Colin Firth in his role in the Tom Ford directed movie, A Single Man. We here at HeyUGuys have a sneaky suspicion that he may in fact win it! But to tide us over for the next 5 weeks, we have these awesome new images from the movie. I think they might possibly be the best still I’ve seen taken from any film. Do you agree?

I am v. happy to see a UK site behind Colin Firth for Oscar. Thanks for this.
I think he gives the superior performance and should be acknowledged as such. He should have won for 'A Month in the Country' and 'Apartment Zero' many moons ago.
I am a longtime U.S. fan of his and I hope he wins the BAFTA as well.
I sincerely hope your feeling that Colin may win the Oscar is accurate, as he certainly deserves it! Many U.S. critics are saying that Jeff Bridges will win, but that Colin SHOULD win.
