The 58th annual London Film Festival concludes today with the gala screening of David Ayer’s acclaimed war drama Fury.

Ayer, recently appointed as the director of DC’s Suicide Squad movie, is known for his compelling tales of camaraderie under fire, with Training Day and his last film End of Watch, leading nicely to Fury. Brad Pitt heads a fine cast which includes Michael Peña, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, and Jon Bernthal

In the final months of World War 2 a dangerous mission is underway as the concept of ‘behind enemy lines’ changing each day. Brad Pitt stars as a Captain named Wardaddy, who leads his man in the titular tank across the ruined countryside to an explosive destination.

The film is well worth catching, though it has divided the critics somewhat. The cast and crew were on hand at this morning’s press conference, here’s the full video for you.

  1. Fury has a much more impressive cast of Jewish actors (Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Isaacs) playing WWII soldiers than Pitt’s Inglourious Basterds did.
