Warner Bros. has unveiled a new trailer at Lee Cronin’s ‘The Mummy,’ a bold new reimagining of the classic monster tale from filmmaker Lee Cronin.
Fresh from the record-shattering success of Evil Dead Rise, Cronin pivots from demonic possession to ancient terror, resurrecting one of horror’s most enduring legends with a vision that promises dread soaked in sand and sorrow.
At the heart of the film is a haunting mystery: the young daughter of a journalist vanishes into the desert without a trace. Eight years pass in silence before she is suddenly returned to her fractured family. What should be a miracle instead unfolds into something far more sinister, as the reunion slowly mutates into a waking nightmare.
The film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, and Veronica Falcón.
Behind the camera, Cronin both writes and directs, supported by powerhouse producers James Wan, Jason Blum, and John Keville.
