The screenshots have been leaked through the special effects firm who did the effects in FPS Russias latest viral video.
You can see that these images are taken from in-game, but it seems to be at a very early stage, it is still unclear what stage of development these pictures were taken from. Some have said these were all rendered in Modern Warfare 3’s engine.
The special effects firm Reel EFX released these images on their own website before being swiftly taken down, unfortunately not soon enough as the images were taken as soon as they were put up.
As we get closer and closer to the reveal of the next installment in the series you have to think whether this is all a PR stunt to get people talking about the game before anything official comes out.
