Last month, we paid a visit to the X-Mansion (an experience you can read all about by clicking here), and while there, we had the opportunity to sit down and speak with star Lana Condor. The actress – who was recently cast in Alita: Battle Angel – plays Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse and is clearly passionate about the character and what the future holds in store.

During the interview which can be watched in full below, we touched on everything from those popular deleted scenes set inside a classic 1980s era mall to the possibility of Jubilee becoming a vampire like her comic book counterpart and/or showing up in New Mutants, and what Condor is hoping to see in the currently undated 90s set X-Men: Apocalypse sequel.

X-Men: Apocalypse is available on Digital HD from today & on Blu-ray™, 4K Ultra HD & DVD from 7th November, from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

On Shooting X-Men: Apocalypse’s Mall Scenes:

“It was awesome. It was really fun to shoot those. That was our first day working on the whole project, so we were all meeting each other for the first time, so that was really cool. The arcade was fully functional, so whenever they were setting up different shots or anything, the four of us would run away and go play video games. It was really, really fun. It was huge. That was a real mall. That wasn’t a set or in a studio or anything; that was real.”

On Being Disappointed When Those Scenes Were Cut:

“I was. I saw the film before we did the London press tour and I was disappointed because obviously we worked on it for a couple of days I think and I just think it’s such a cool scene. My disappointment turned to happiness because it’s on the DVD, and you should go buy it!”

On Jubilee’s Comic Book Transformation Into A Vampire:

“I think it would be cool, if there were to be more films, to have her as a vampire. I don’t do well with blood, so we’ll go down that road if it comes, but that would be fun. I want fangs!”

On Possibly Starring In Josh Boone’s New Mutants:

“I don’t really know what New Mutants is going to be about. I’ve read the blogs and stuff, but I definitely would be interested if they asked me. That would be awesome. Hire me, please!”

On The Possibility Of An Avengers/X-Men Crossover Movie:

“That would be epic, because I love Robert Downey Jr. There would probably be no screentime for anyone because there’s like 1000 people in the cast, but it would be epic.”

On What She’d Like To See In The X-Men: Apocalypse Sequel:

“It would be cool if it was mutants against mutants instead of one singular villain…”
