Gordon-Levitt’s involvement has been hinted at ever since he appeared in director Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award nominated Inception.
His role has not yet been revealed, but various websites speculate it could well be Hugo Strange.
If the casting is confirmed, Gordon-Levitt will star opposite Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Tom Hardy in the threequel.
Cinematographer Wally Pfister, in a recent interview, described the script for The Dark Knight Rises as “phenomenal”.
Production is expected to commence in May.

I think he looks very much like Heath Ledger, though I doubt Nolan would have the same villain in two consecutive films.
I doubt it will be the Riddler, as Nolan already said the Riddler wouldn’t appear in the film. Although I’d love to see it as this actor became my fovourite one after Inception.(By the way, good quality of this movie I found on )
