J.J. Abrams Audio Interview: The Secrets of Super 8

J.J. Abrams’ latest movie, Super 8 isn’t released in the UK until 5th August which is a right pain in the bum since it’s released in the US and Australia 2 months earlier! Abrams is currently on the press trail for the movie in those two other countries and we’ve come across this interview that he did with Tim Dunlop for a radio station in Australia which I believe is one of the first.

In the interview, Abrams discusses how he managed to get all round directing legend and in this case, Producer, Steven Spielberg on board, how he cast the kids in the movie and how he keeps his movies so secretive right up until release. I’ve embedded the interview below for your listening pleasure and I’m sure you’ll love it.

  1. This is B.S , a movie with huge secrecy and we have to wait 2 months to see it , I new we would pay for getting THOR and X MEN FIRST CLASS early ! I am going to have to bury my head in the sand because i think seeing this one fresh , could be quite speacial , E,T like !
